It helps having famous parents! Connor Cruise DJs on chatshow Kelly And Michael (and takes Tom's private jet to get there)
When you're trying to launch a new career in an industry as competitive as DJing it can be hard to land those illusive first gigs.
But Connor Cruise seems to have no trouble - even Djing on Monday's episode of U.S. chatrshow Kelly And Michael.
Of course it helps having famous parents, and Connor is obviously finding that being the son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman opens doors.
Opening doors: Connor Cruise DJs on Live with Kelly & Michael on Monday morning
Forging a career: The young DJ played music during the advert breaks, and exchanged a few pleasantries with the hosts
It also makes life easier, with the 17-year-old posting pictures on his Twitter page of himself taking his father's private jet to New York to appear on the TV show, then hopping back on board to fly home.
On the chatshow Connor was hardly taxed, playing music to the studio audience during the advert breaks and exchanging the occasional smile or inane pleasantry with the hosts.
At one stage Kelly Ripa asked him whether he was coping with the early start.
'I know!' he replied. 'Its definitely not my normal schedule. I'm normally up pretty late.'
Embarrassing: Kelly Ripa shows off her best mom dancing moves
But no matter what help he has received from his famous last name, Connor is certainly working hard on his career.
Despite his tender age he has just returned from a European tour, where he played in London, Switzerland Germany
Connor, who the New York Post claims earns up to $10,000 a show, has for some time used the DJ name C-Squared.
And the busy teen will soon appear in the delayed release of the Red Dawn remake.
Makes life easier: Connor posted this picture of himself onboard his father Tom's private jet after the appearance on Kelly And Michael
The only way to travel: Connor, who lives in Los Angeles, hopped onboard his father's jet to commute to New York for the show

The single mother, who turns 34 next month, flaunted her pins in a beige skater's skirt, a patterned dress shirt under a blue jean jacket, and sensible black flats.

On Sunday, the mother-daughter duo went out for ice-cream, despite the typically 50-degree drizzly New York weather.
Katie and Suri must have witnessed someone falling down or some other such cringe-worthy event, because they both amusingly reacted in concert with concern.
On Saturday, Katie was spotted carrying a tired-looking Suri out of the Music Box Theatre after finishing a matinee performance of her play Dead Accounts.

Katie portrays a lapsed Catholic named Lorna taking care of her ailing parents in the black comedy, which is currently in previews with an opening date of November 28.
Holmes's performance has already drawn a standing ovation – especially when a telephone being used in one scene broke, and she deftly fixed it without skipping a beat.
'I have a hard time sleeping because I think about how serious this all is,' Katie told the New York Times.

The last time Katie was on Broadway was back in 2008, making her debut in a revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons.
The actress-turned-fashion designer will next appear alongside Jean Reno, Allison Janney, and William Hurt in a yet-to-be-titled Christian Camargo drama, which is a modern retelling of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull.
She'll also star opposite Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford in the romantic comedy Responsible Adults, about a man who realizes that his crush was his babysitter 15 years ago.
Meanwhile, Katie's ex-husband, 50, has reportedly been so busy filming the sci-fi action film, All You Need is Kill, in London he hasn't seen his daughter in about four months.
