Given how the cult has been losing membership all over the world and paying out to ex-members I'm surprised that they are intending to go ahead with this refurbishment. I'm guessing that as it is a listed building part of the terms of sale was a guarantee to refurbish the house and bring it up to listed spec.... back in 2007 the cult wasn't really experiencing the problems it is today and probably imagined the money it bleeds out of it's members would be never-ending.
I think this meeting is more to keep the local council off its back then to actually listen to local residents.
