Movie star in the making! Suri Cruise has her mother Katie Holmes chuckling with some very funny faces
It seems Katie Holmes can always count on her daughter Suri Cruise to brighten her spirits.
The actress was left giggling on Tuesday when her six-year-old pulled a series of hilarious expressions during a walk around New York.
She is currently intent on the idea of becoming a gymnast but Suri proved she could easily follow in the footsteps of her famous father Tom and mother Katie.

The precocious child looked like a little movie star in the making as she contorted her face while her mother and a pal laughed away.
It would appear that Suri was putting on quite the show out of protest when she had to say goodbye to her little friend.
As usual, Suri’s outfit showed off her flare for fashion – and her love of pink.
She was dressed in a long chiffon fuchsia skirt and matching top, which she wore under a black and white leopard print cardigan.
She could be an actress: With Katie as her mother and Tom Cruise as her father, it seems Suri has a knack for acting

Suri seems to have developed a fondness for the pattern as her rucksack was also leopard print, but in a bright pink hue.
The brunette completed her eye-catching outfit with a flower headband and black patent shoes, wearing her hair in cute braids.
But the most adorable part of Suri’s stylish outfit was a paper ‘vote’ necklace which she appeared to have made in order to encourage people to take part in the election.
Meanwhile, Katie was wrapped up warm for her outing with her daughter in a cream coat, black trousers and matching boots, and a chunky knitted scarf.

The previous day marked the star’s first Broadway performance in Dead Accounts and she was seen smiling to herself when she went for an early coffee run the morning after.
It appears that Katie’s return to the stage is already proving a success – the former Dawson’s Creek beauty received a standing ovation along with the rest of the cast when they took their final bow.
In a recent interview with the New York Times alongside her fellow Dead Accounts cast mate Norbert Leo Butz, Katie revealed she is not all that different to her character Lorna, and said: ‘I still think of myself as Midwestern.
‘I mean, I’ve had box wine. It’s good. And it’s a lot easier to open.’
Star of the stage: Katie returned to Broadway in the production of Dead Accounts on Monday night
After admitting that she still questions whether the ‘innocent values’ she grew up with work for her, Katie said: ‘I’m like Lorna in that my values guide me in an instinctual way… Also, the Midwestern work ethic: You do what you do, and you don’t talk about it.
‘You don’t say, “Oh, I’m a doctor.” You won’t have many friends if you do that. And when you’re in the entertainment business where you’re applauded for so many things, you can easily fall into thinking, “Wow, I’m really something.”
‘But I believe in putting your head down and doing the work.’
It went well: Katie couldn't help but smile the morning after her performance as she had received a standing ovation from the audience
