The couple met in 2005 after Mr Rathbun - who led audits on Hollywood actor Tom Cruise while at the organisation - had left the Church, and they started a new life in Texas, reported RadarOnline.
She alleges that the Church sent her a sex toy while she was at work, and when she was away it ‘sent flowers to one of my female co-workers with a “romantic” message purporting to be from me’.
Mrs Rathbun also claims that the Church has published allegations that she is a ‘sexual pervert’ and a man who has had a secret sex change, according to the documents published by RadarOnline.
Her lawyer Ray Jeffrey said the lawsuit would have never happened if the Church had left her alone.

He told RadarOnline that Mr Rathbun had ‘initiated a smear campaign against the Church and its ecclesiastical leader that is now in its fourth year’.
The spokesman added: ‘Much to Mr Rathbun’s continuing frustration, the Church since his departure is flourishing and undergoing a period of unprecedented expansion.’

Wife Of Tom Cruise’s Former Scientology Auditor Sues The Church And Its Leader For Harassment
The wife of the man who led audits on Tom Cruise when he was a top exec at the Church of Scientology has filed a lawsuit against the organization and its controversial leader, David Miscavige, claiming harassment, and RadarOnline.com has all the details.
Former senior exec Marty Rathbun‘s wife, Monique, — who has never been a member of the church — filed a multi-million dollar suit in Comal County, Texas, on August 16 calling Scientology a “notorious, multi-billion dollar cult,” claiming harassment from them.
Monique was even granted a temporary restraining order last Friday, calling on the church to stop following her electronically and cease surveillance on her.
Interestingly, Monique met Marty in 2005 after he’d already left Scientology, and the two began a new life together in Texas — but claims in the court documents that the was “intentionally targeted by OSA [Office of Special Affairs] merely because of her relationship with Mr. Rathbun.”
“She has been subjected to numerous, aggressive attempts to intimidate her… She has been targeted at home, at work, and anywhere else that she happens to be,” the lawsuit alleges.
“She has been harassed, insulted, surveilled, photographed, videotaped, defamed, and humiliated to such a degree as to shock the conscience of any decent, law-abiding person.”
Listed in her complaint of harassments are incidents she claims occurred specifically because she’s a woman.
“Presumably because I am a woman, the Defendants seem obsessed with my sexuality. They sent a sex toy to me at my workplace, which was very embarrassing. With their constant surveillance of me, they knew when I was away from the office, at which time they sent flowers to one of my female co-workers with a ‘romantic’ message purporting to be from me. Of course this was distressing to me,” the docs state.
“Scientology websites have published bizarre and sometimes vile allegations against me, including false claims that I am a sexual pervert. They have even alleged that I am not even a woman, but a man who has had a secret sex-change operation. So, I have even had my womanhood questioned as part of this sick campaign to inflict maximum emotional distress on me.”
Monique’s attorney, Ray Jeffrey, told The Underground Bunker that if the church would have just left his client and her husband alone, the lawsuit would have never came to fruition.
“They loved that house down there, but they had to leave,” he said, referring to the move they made from Ingleside On The Bay in Texas to Comal County.
“And if the church had left them alone Monique wouldn’t have sued.”
But despite the move, Monique claims Scientology found them — and set up camp next door.
Jeffrey says an undeveloped piece of land adjacent to the Rathbun’s was suddenly inhabited by a man who lived in an RV and claimed he was an author and writer.
“It was overgrown. It had no water, no electricity. The guy said he was bringing in an RV. But it’s completely remote, not in a subdivision, there was no street address. It wasn’t for sale and it wasn’t for rent. The only way they got that property was by looking at a map to find out what was next to Marty’s house,” Jeffrey said.
“Some publishing company is not finding a property like that in Texas for one of its writers.”
The Underground Bunker reports that high-tech cameras were installed in trees overlooking the Rathbun’s home, with signs stating they were part of the Texas Wildlife Conservancy, which Jeffrey says doesn’t exist.
“The cameras are not game cameras, they’re high tech human surveillance cameras,” he said.
“That was the straw that broke the camel’s back for Monique. Cameras pointed at her driveway, watching who comes and goes.”
The Church of Scientology responded with a statement, which includes:
The Church has not been served.Based on the media reports, the complaint filed in Texas is nothing more than a pathetic get-rich scheme cooked up by unemployed blogger Marty Rathbun, who is now [involving his wife in his plans].As any reporter who has dealt with him knows, it was a bitter, seething Marty Rathbun who, after having been removed from his position in the Church for malfeasance a decade ago, initiated a smear campaign against the Church and its ecclesiastical leader that is now in its fourth year.During that period, Mr. Rathbun and his self-described “posse” have unrelentingly shopped made-up tales and myths to virtually every media outlet they can find. Much to Mr. Rathbun’s continuing frustration, the Church since his departure is flourishing and undergoing a period of unprecedented expansion.
“Young & Restless” Star Leaves Show to Make YouTube Series with Scientology Pals
EXCLUSIVE: You’ve got to hand it to the friends of Xenu: they are a clubby bunch. Earlier this summer Michelle Stafford, a top celeb Scientologist, left her Emmy winning role on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” after 16 years. No one knows why exactly. Stafford told the soap opera press she was “done.” Her role will likely be recast.
So what did Stafford leave for? To make a YouTube series with her Scientology pals. “The Stafford Project” so far is just two episodes, each around 9 minutes long. The “project” is a reality series in small installments, all about Stafford’s so called real life as a single mom of a baby delivered by surrogate.
But what “The Stafford Project” hasn’t addressed yet is that everyone involved in it is a Scientologist. No less than two of them actresses named Paige– Goodman and Long. They are all well versed students of L. Ron Hubbard. They write and produce the show with Stafford. Goodman (then called Paige Dorian) was ex-member Lisa Presley’s assistant and minder for eight years according to reports.
So far all the male actors are members of the cult, too– Sevier Crespo and Robert Filios, as well as actor Eric Matheny.
And they’re not alone. The composer of music for “The Stafford Project,” Holly Palmer, has a long list of Scientology courses under her own at www.truthaboutscientology.com
Stafford has been with Scientology since 1990, and has worked her way up to OTVII, which means she may have secret information about desert rendezvous with aliens. Stafford had been married several times on “Y&R,” kidnapped, tried to run enemies down with her car, but never got to play that story out. Maybe she will on “The Stafford Project.”
Ex-Scientologist and vocal critic Mike Rinder has an interesting take on Stafford’s peculiar exit from “The Young and the Restless.” He says it’s because Stafford would not work on the same show as another ex-cult member, actor Michael Fairman, who plays the recurring character of Murphy. http://www.mikerindersblog.org/voldemort-19-july/
Fairman left Scientology in the last couple of years because he didn’t agree with David Miscavige’s controversial leadership. “Y&R” also boasts at least one other Scientologist in its cast– Sharon Case, a milquetoast actress who’s been taking courses since 1986. Her character, also named Sharon, was recently diagonosed with bi-polar disorder in order to explain her sociopathic behavior.

Look who's all grown up! Katie Holmes treats her elegant little lady Suri Cruise to ice cream as she takes filming break
|
Suri Cruise is growing up in the limelight.
And on Monday, Katie Holmes' little girl was more little lady as she decisively lead the way while they took a brisk stroll together.
The seven-year-old schoolgirl was spotted with her mother in Cleveland, Ohio, where the 34-year-old actress is currently shooting her latest movie, Miss Meadows.
A big girl now: Katie Holmes stepped out in Cleveland, Ohio on Wednesday with her daughter Suri who was looking particularly sophisticated as she kept in step with her mother
Katie, who treated Suri to ice cream on the outing, kept it casual in an ensemble of sweatpants and a form-fitting white shirt and seemed to enjoy a little time off from her shooting schedule.
The former Dawson's Creek star added a pair of cute pink bowling-inspired shoes to her comfortable looking outfit.
Her radiant skin appeared to be makeup-free and her brunette tresses were tied back into a simple bun, showing off her natural beauty.
Who's texting you, mommy? Suri looked to be helping her famous mother decipher a text message as she snacked on a delicious looking ice cream
Suri was dressed in a particularly cute ensemble made up of red capri pants, an oversized grey sweatshirt and a navy tank underneath.
The youngster wore her own long brunette tresses down with a fun pink ribbon tied at the top.
It looked as though the happy pair hit the shops as Katie was carrying a gift bag from a local boutique.
Leading the way: as Katie buried her head in her phone, the seven-year-old seemed happy to take the lead during their sunny outing together
Wearing playful pink slip-on shoes, Suri skipped ahead and appeared to take charge as Katie meandered behind, checking out her cellphone as she walked.
But you're never too old for ice cream, of course, so the Thank You For Smoking actress was sure to treat her daughter to a delicious looking cone.
At one point, as the growing girl took break from walking and rested in Katie's arms, she looked to be helping her mother decipher something on her phone.
Is there anything on my face? Suri looked to be thoroughly enjoying her ice cream as she chatted away with her mother
Katie has recently started shooting Miss Meadows, which has director Karen Leigh Hopkins at the helm.
The film is being produced by Rob Carliner, one of the producers behind Crazy Heart, as well as Mark Johnson.
The mother-of-one has certainly been busy of late, as it's not long since the star - formerly married to Tom Cruise - was working in New York set of Mania Days.
