She has just scooped the cream of Hollywood to win the starring role in Fifty Shades of Grey.
But Dakota Johnson does not need S&M fanatic Christian Grey as her lover as she has already scored her own leading man – and he’s a clean-living Scientologist, MailOnline can reveal.
The 23-year-old daughter of Oscar nominee Melanie Griffith and actor Don Johnson is in a long-term relationship with Jordan Masterson, who hails from a high-profile Scientology family.
After posting a picture of Dakota last week from a trip to Utah, one friend messaged Jordan: ‘Congrats 2 your girl on her HUGE role as Anastasia!’

The couple have built up a close circle of pals in Hollywood and Dakota is firm friends with Jordan’s sister Alanna Masterson, who celebrated the news that the slender blonde had won the role of Anastasia Steele by tweeting last week: ‘Everyone is so proud of you Dakota’.
Alanna also posted a picture of the couple hard at work on a crossword puzzle last month, with the message: ‘My two favourite people.’
Jordan, 27, and Alanna, 25, have been Scientologists since childhood. However, their father Joe Reachie, a Beirut-born former Australian rugby league player recently told MailOnline how he had not seen them for nine years after being ex-communicated by the mysterious church.
Last October, Dakota admitted: ‘I have a boyfriend that I’ve been with for a while. I’ve only been in long-term relationships. I’ve never really dated myself’ – but failed to mention his name.
But perhaps the long-term romance gives Dakota some structure in her life after it was reported she went to rehab at the age of 17.
In September 2007, it was widely reported that she completed a 30-day inpatient rehab program at the Visions Teen Treatment Center in Malibu for drug and alcohol addiction. She also participated in an outpatient program in Brentwood.
Both Dakota’s parents have had spells in rehab.
Celebrating: Alanna Masterson posted a picture of the Masterson clan, including Jordan (left) and brother Christopher (right) hugging Dakota after her movie role win. She tweeted: 'Everyone is so proud of you Dakota. Well, except for Chris'

Her parents had a famously rocky romance and married twice.
Working Girl star Melanie Griffith, 56, first married former Miami Vice star Don Johnson, 63, when she was 18 and the marriage lasted for seven months. They wed once again following Dakota’s birth in 1989 - but divorced again in 1996.
Later that year, Melanie married Spanish heartthrob Antonio Banderas, and the couple went on to have their daughter Stella, now 17.
Dakota also has an older half-brother, Alexander Bauer, 28, from her mom's previous marriage to Steven Bauer. She also has four half-siblings on her dad's side.
But a difficult childhood does not mean her parents are not proud - as Melanie tweeted on September 2: 'My beautiful child Dakota has been chosen to play Anna Steele in 50 Shades!!! Look out world! Here she comes!!! #proudmama'
When asked about her parents, Dakota told Interview magazine in April 2012: 'For me it's just my family, it's the way I grew up and it's my mom and my dad...sometimes it's kind of a drag to talk about.'

Jordan's family are firmly routed in Scientology and he and his siblings were educated within the church.
Indeed, it will be interesting to discover what Scientology elders would say about Dakota's film role, which will see her play a college graduate who embarks on an affair with a young business magnate.
The best-selling trilogy by EL James is now infamous for its explicit sex scenes featuring sadomasochism.
Church founder L Ron Hubbard wrote that pain and sex are both 'invented tools of degradation' by 'destructive creatures' with the intention 'to shrink people and cut their alertness, knowingness, power and reach'. He also created a 'Know to Sex' scale, which focuses on people's attitudes towards sex.
Jordan's father Joe joined Scientology in 1978 and married fellow Scientologist Carol Masterson, the mother of actors Danny and Christopher Masterson, in 1985. The couple went on to have Jordan and Alanna.

However, Joe left the church in 2005 – and has since then been an outspoken critic of the religion.
He spoke out in July to MailOnline after pictures of his daughter and her friend Connor Cruise, the 18-year-old son of high-profile Scientologist Tom Cruise surfaced, saying he was the 'worst person' for Alanna to become close to.
Joe, 55, who was ex-communicated from the church, said: ‘If there is any chance that Alanna is connected to Connor, he is the worst person for her to be around. The more she’s around him, the deeper into the church she goes.
Following the breakdown of his marriage, Joe, a plain-speaking Aussie who now lives in Long Island, New York, started to question the church and the religion that had been part of his life for so long.
After '18 years of constant learning and exorbitant costs’, Joe estimates he had paid out to ‘close to $400,000’ on Scientology services for him and his wife.
The tipping point came, said Joe, when he was on business in Atlanta and was called by one of the Church’s executives in New York’s ‘Justice Division’ and ordered to arrive in New York within 24 hours – or he would be considered a Supressive Person for non-compliance.
This, Joe said, he simply did not want to comply to – and was indeed told to leave.

Alanna, now a striking brunette who has most recently been dating DJ Jesse Marco, and her siblings were educated within Scientology, as were Connor and his sister Isabella.
And records show she – alongside her mother and brothers – have each donated $35,000 of their own money to the church to reach Cornerstone status within the past few years.
Being shut out of the church in 2005 meant that Joe has not seen his children – including the step-sons he helped raise – for the past nine years.
'I'm not perfect’, admitted Joe, who has remained single since his divorce, ‘I did make mistakes, but does that make me evil? I fathered these children and raised my two step-sons and I hope one day they wake up and smell the coffee.
'But it is sad not to see my kids, to realise that I might now be able to walk my daughter down the aisle – it’s heartbreaking. But I could walk away and say I raised those kids with the best of my ability and I never abused them and I loved them.’

Now working in finance, Joe stressed: 'No religion has the right to ruin you and split up your family.'
Fifty Shades of Grey will be Dakota's first high-profile movie role. She appeared in The Social Network - bedding Justin Timberlake on screen and was last seen on TV on axed Fox sitcom Ben & Kate.
Last week, producers were forced to defend their casting choices after announcing Dakota as Ana and Brit hunk and Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Charlie Hunnam as Christian Grey.
A huge backlash inspired producer Dana Brunetti to explain the casting process and what informed the decision to pick both actors.
'There is a lot that goes into casting that isn’t just looks. Talent, availability, their desire to do it, chemistry with other actor, etc,' he said:
'So if your favourite wasn’t cast, then it is most likely due to something on that list. Keep that in mind while hating and keep perspective.'

King of the Beggars
SEPTEMBER 10, 2013 BY 77 COMMENTS
Way back in the 70′s he was plying his trade at Flag.
He has been “Captain” at ASHO for many years now (a sure fire indication there is NO management structure in Scientology as one of the hallmarks of Scientology management is the musical chairs of org EDs/COs, especially for orgs like ASHO that have continued on a decades long slow decline).
But, the secret of his longevity is disclosed in his letter. Jon is a “team player.” Like a public whale who can get away with anything as long as he keeps filling the coffers of the IAS/Ideal Orgs/Library Campaigns/Preservation of The Tech/Superpower etc etc, Lundeen is a willing whore for whatever money-making scheme there is.
He is not working on training auditors (the primary function of ASHO — the ONLY strictly “training org” on earth), he is pimping for dollars.
By the way, you notice that Portland is now no longer the “First Scientology City”? Wonder if anyone told them that?
By the way, you notice that Portland is now no longer the “First Scientology City”? Wonder if anyone told them that?
And this propaganda by redefinition of words is pretty amazing. Valley Org moving into their white elephant building will make Los Angeles a “Scientology City”? Really? Even if LA Org, Pasadena and Orange County (the LA “Ideal Orgs”) were kicking butt (they are not, the latest report I got is that staff at the “model” Ideal Org — LA — don’t even bother to pick up their “pay” as its not worth the time to deposit a check for a couple of bucks) they would still not be making a DENT on the population of Los Angeles.
If each of the 3 “Ideal Orgs” were getting 1,000 new public started on real services every week (and they are actually averaging 10 on good weeks) it would take 115 YEARS to get the population of the Greater LA area through Basic Courses. Adding another “Ideal Org” doing even a thousand a week is going to cut that back to 86 YEARS. But at the REAL rate that will actually be 8,600 YEARS.
Hallucinatory cause.
