John Travolta and Kelly Preston Drawn into Church of Scientology Wrongful Death Suit

John Travolta is back in the news again and this time it doesn't involve his purported gay lover. Travolta and wife Kelly Preston have been dragged into the fiasco surrounding the Church of Scientology and a wrongful death suit filed against its drug rehab program.
According to a report from RadarOnline, Narconon is the Scientology-run program at the center of a wrongful death suit filed by the parents of several young people who died while in the Church of Scientology's care.
Travolta and Preston are touting the merits of Narcanon the same way Scientologists Kirstie Alley and Tom Cruise did recently.
"Compared to other rehabs, we're the best," Travolta said.Connie Wernick lost her 21-year-old daughter Kaysie while she was in the Narconon program back in 2009.
"If I could talk directly to John Travolta, I would tell him the program he is supporting is responsible for killing my daughter!" she said tearfully.
A representative for the Church of Scientology also denies any wrongdoing.
"There was nothing that the Church of Scientology did, or failed to do, which caused or contributed to the fatalities at Narconon Arrowhead," the rep said.
A recent fundraiser put on by Narconon clients has raised some questions as to whether or not the Church of Scientology is soliciting funds for the legal case--using patients to help raise those funds.
A rep for the Pulp Fiction star claims the fundraiser was held "with the intention of helping people facing addictions has nothing whatsoever...to do with the deaths."
Does it seem to you like something really bizarre is going on behind closed doors? It is becoming apropos with almost everything involving the Church of Scientology.
Are Travolta and his wife lying or perhaps a bit brainwashed in their defense of both the Church of Scientology and its Narconon program? Can the same be said for Tom Cruise and Kirstie Alley?
