Kirstie Alley Hates Leah Remini Now
File this story under: Things that are about as obvious as John Travolta’s love of lace fronts and peen.
And since you’re already filing something, file that picture under: What Xenu looks like in bad drag.
Leah Remini quit Scientology for a bunch of reasons (examples: David Miscavigeis the queen alien bitch and won’t hear otherwise, and he gets mad when you ask him about the wife he probably keeps prisoner in a dungeon under the sand in the desert somewhere) and one of the main reasons was because Scientologists have to cut all ties with family members and friends who leave the church. So when Leah Remini basically said in so many words that she’s done with Scientology, I knew that her name rose above “vegetables without cheese on top” on the list of things Kirstie Alley hates most.
Tony Ortega (via HuffPo) points us to these tweets that Kirstie twatted out the day before The New York Post said that Leah quit Scientology:
Beware syrup? I don’t even know what that means. Either Kirstie’s thinking about pancakes as always or she’s calling Leah Remini a two-faced bitch in Xenunese.
Tony Ortega also says that on the day Kirstie found out that Leah left, she was working the phones at Scientology’s Celebrity Centre in Hollywood and asked the bridge queens what they were going to do about it. Executives at Scientology then called Kirstie and other celebwhores to the house of longtime Scientologist Melinda Brownstone to talk about Leah leaving their crazy asses. Kirstie tweeted about being at Melinda’s house that day. Tony writes:
“A meeting was called for Alley and other celebrities to get a briefing from church executives about what was going on and what they planned to do about it. The meeting was held at the home of Melinda Brownstone — a longtime Scientologist. Our sources tell us that Brownstone was one of Leah Remini’s first and best friends after Remini moved to Los Angeles at only 13 years of age.(We reached Brownstone by telephone, but she told us, ‘You know what? I have nothing to say.’)Brownstone is the godmother to Remini’s daughter, Sofia. Remini’s sister Shannon is married to Brownstone’s brother, who Melinda cut off ties with earlier. For years, Brownstone worked for Remini, but then they parted ways in 2008 after a dispute. They haven’t spoken since, our sources say. They also tell us that Kirstie Alley and Remini are not close. When Remini was working to raise support recently for Hurricane Sandy relief in New York and reached out to Alley for help, we’re told Remini never got a return phone call.It seems very significant then, that Alley, after calling for a briefing of celebrities, not only held that meeting in the home of Remini’s former best friend, but also tweeted her location publicly in what looks like a taunt.”
The fact that those insane E.T.-humping crazy bitches held an emergency meeting to “brief” members on what they’re going to do about Leah leaving says everything. Leaving Scientology sounds harder than leaving the damn Crips.
Yeah, Scientology will probably stalk Leah for the rest of her days and turn all her family members against her, but at least she doesn’t have to look at Kirstie Alley’s face anymore. That’s a good thing. And Scientology is scary as hell, but they still got nothing on my abuelita. The day I told my abuelita I didn’t want to go to Sunday mass, she threw a stank eye that Xenu, L. Ron Hubbard and Kirstie Alley would all run from. She threw a stank eye that made me run back into the arms of Jesus.

Kirstie Alley is said to be 'livid' with her former friend Leah Remini after she ended her association with the Church Of Scientology last week.
The 62-year-old actress looked unusually downcast as she headed out in LA's Los Feliz over the weekend following the King of Queens star's dramatic exit from the controversial organization.
Scientology journalist Tony Ortega, who was the first to report Leah's defection on July 8 on The Underground Bunker, claims the long-time Scientology devotee spent hours in crisis talks with fellow celebrity Church members on July 10 after Leah made the decision to dissolve her union with the controversial organisation.

Huge furore: Leah is understood to have left the controversial Church
In a series of no-holds-barred, cryptic tweets posted on July 10, Kristie appeared to slam her friend of 30 years for spreading what she called 'malicious gossip'.
'When faced w malicious gossip I take a moment to experience the loss of the person I thought was my friend... Then I say f*** em..:)' she posted to her more than one million followers.
Six hours later, she followed up with 'the sweetest poison is often served with a smile...beware syrup' as she allegedly arrived at long-time Church member Melinda Brownstone's home for crisis talks.
Melinda was said to have been Leah's oldest and best friend, having met when she first moved to LA at the tender age of 13, however, all members have allegedly been instructed to 'disconnect' from the star immediately.
Former King Of Queens star Leah joined the Church with her mother in the 1970s after relocating to Los Angeles from Brooklyn to pursue her acting dream.

Long history: Kirstie has been a very vocal supporter of the Church Of Scientology since discovering the organisation in 1979
Leah reportedly called time on her association following years of interrogation for questioning the whereabouts of leader David Miscavige's wife, Shelly, who hasn't been seen since 2007.
In a statement released to People magazine on July 11, the 43-year-old thanked the public for supporting her decision to cut ties with the controversial church.
'I wish to share my sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming positive response I have received from the media, my colleagues, and from fans around the world. I am truly grateful and thankful for all your support.'
Meanwhile, deep in conversation on her phone as she made her way to the Mustard Seed Cafe in Los Feliz on July 13, Kirstie wasn't able to muster a smile as she seemingly had the weight of the world on her shoulders.
The mother-of-two appeared not to have ran a comb through her hair or put on a lick of make-up.
A good distraction: The 62-year-old is currently busy working on a new sitcom, aptly titled Kirstie's New Show, which will premiere in the fall
Kirstie has been a very vocal supporter of the Church of Scientology since she became affiliated with them through a Narconon program that based its techniques on their beliefs and practices in 1979.
She credits the Church with helping her overcome her cocaine addiction.
'To tell you the honest-to-God truth: without Scientology, I would be dead. So, I can personally highly recommend it,' she says
Other famous long-time celebrity Scientology devotees include Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Jenna Elfman and Juliette Lewis.
MailOnline has reached out to Kirstie's spokesperson for comment but is yet to receive a response.

Scientology member Kirstie Alley is reportedly furious at ex-member Leah Remini after the “King of Queens” actress broke away from the organization.
Page Six reported last week that Remini quit the church following years of “interrogations” and “thought modifications” after questioning Scientology practices and the whereabouts of leader David Miscavige’s wife, Shelly.
Alley, an outspoken defender of Scientology, tweetedWednesday morning, “When faced w malicious gossip I take a moment to experience the loss of the person I thought was my friend… Then I say [bleep] em..:) #RISE”

Former Village Voice editor Tony Ortega claimed in his Scientology blog that Alley was "livid at Remini” for leaving.
"Our sources tell us that Alley worked the phones that day, raising a stink with the personnel at the Hollywood Celebrity Centre — what were church officials going to do about Remini’s defection?" Ortega wrote.
"A meeting was called for Alley and other celebrities to get a briefing from church executives about what was going on and what they planned to do about it."
The meeting was reportedly held at longtime Scientologist Melinda Brownstone’s home. Sources explained to Ortega that Brownstone was one of Remini’s best friends until they had an alleged falling out in 2008.
Kirstie Alley 'Livid' With Leah Remini For Leaving Church Of Scientology

Actress and Church of Scientology member Kirstie Alley reportedly has it out for Leah Remini now that the former "King of Queens" star has severed ties with the Xenu institution.
Last week, news first broke that Remini quit Scientology following years of interrogations and thought modifications. The probing came after she allegedly questioned Scientology leader David Miscavige, the church's practices and thedisappearance of Miscavige's wife, Shelly. The 43-year-old CBS star was one of Scientology's most famous members, having been involved with the group for some three decades and having defended it publicly on previous occasions.
Scientology journalist and former Village Voice editor Tony Ortega claims Alley was "livid" with Remini for leaving. He pinned multiple tweets posted by the "Manzanis" star to the issue.
The meeting was allegedly held at the home of longtime Scientologist Melinda Brownstone, who was one of Remini's best friends until they had a falling out in 2008. Alley tweeted about being at Brownstone's house just days after the first report of Remini's exit surfaced.
Alley has been a staunch defender of Scientology and some of its high-profile members. Last year, she credited the religion with freeing her from cocaine addiction. She said she found Scientology through a friend who sent her the cornerstone book, Dianetics by founder L. Ron Hubbard, while she was battling drug abuse.
"Somehow I got through [the book], and I thought either [Scientology] is the world's biggest scam or I thought this is how I am going to get rid of this hideous compulsion," she told "Entertainment Tonight."
Confirming her decision to leave Scientology, Remini released a statement July 11 thanking fans and the media for their support.

Actress Katie Holmes to speak at Rose of Hope Luncheon
Stage and screen actress Katie Holmes will deliver the keynote address at this year’s Rose of Hope Luncheon on June 13, a benefit for the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center.
Holmes has appeared in several notable films, ranging from the action blockbuster Batman Begins to critically acclaimed art house pictures such as The Ice Storm and Pieces of April, in which she plans a young woman planning a last Thanksgiving dinner for her mother, who is dying from breast cancer.
The Breast Care Center, the first free-standing, community-based breast care center in Connecticut, has been helping women in the community fight breast cancer for over a decade.
In 1997, Homes was cast as Joey Potter on the WB TV series “Dawson’s Creek,” opposite James Van Der Beek and Michelle Williams. The show quickly became the highest-rated series on the WB network throughout its six-season run.
Holmes’ film career began in 1996 when she landed the role of ‘Libbets Casey,’ opposite Tobey Maguire and Sigourney Weaver in Ang Lee’s award-winning drama The Ice Storm. Since then, she has worked with some of Hollywood’s most prominent actors and directors. Her credits include Curtis Hanson’s Wonder Boys, Jason Reitman’s Thank You for Smoking, and Forest Whitaker’s First Daughter. Holmes also executive produced, in addition to starring in, writer/director Galt Niederhoffer’s The Romantics, an ensemble romantic drama with Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Candice Bergen, and Elijah Wood.
In 2009 Holmes co-founded the Dizzy Feet Foundation, a non-profit organization which aims to help underprivileged youth realize their dream of becoming professional dancers and works to support, improve, and increase access to dance education in the United States. One of the area’s largest and most publicized fundraisers, the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center’s Rose of Hope Luncheon takes place each year in June, with over 500 Fairfield County women and men attending. The luncheon serves as an important source of funds for the Breast Care Center’s programs for women in need, including their Medically Underserved Initiative, which provides financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured women. Over 700 women receive screening and diagnostic services through the Initiative each year, making it the largest program in the area.
The luncheon also raises money for the Breast Care Center’s outreach and education programs. “So many women are still unaware of their risk for breast cancer,” says Dr. Donna Twist, executive director of the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center. “We feel its part of our mission to get the message out to women: early detection can save your life. Breast cancer is treatable and often curable when found early.”
“We’re so excited to have Katie at this year’s luncheon, helping to us to get the message out about breast cancer screening and early detection,” says Twist. “She’s a talented woman with a successful career and busy family life who makes time to help others,” says Twist.
Daneen Grabe and Linda Blackwell, both of Fairfield, will co-chair the Rose of Hope Luncheon. Both are active members of the Breast Care Center’s President’s Council and Advisory Board. Cindy Citrone of the President’s Council will serve as Special Program Chair.
For the ninth consecutive year, the Rose of Hope Luncheon will be held at the home of Patti and Tom Keegan in Greenfield Hill.
