John Travolta's blue-eyed boy Benjamin clings to his father as family touch down in Sydney

He might only be three years old, but John Travolta's son Benjamin is already incredibly well-travelled.

And the latest stop on the tot's itinerary is Sydney, with the Travolta family spotted arriving in the Australian city on Wednesday.

The blue-eyed boy was seen clinging to his famous father as the pair strolled through the airport, alongside John's wife Kelly Preston and their 13-year-old daughter Ella.

Benjamin looked cute in a striped T-shirt and black trousers while John opted for a black T-shirt and jeans with a baseball cap.

The actor was also sporting the same mini-beard he has had in recent weeks.

Kelly, meanwhile, wore a bright pink top and jeans as the family touched down in Sydney, while teenager Ella opted for a pretty patterned maxi dress.

Following their arrival in Sydney, John and Kelly headed out for a quick bite to eat in a restaurant overlooking Sydney Harbour.

And on Thursday morning, John opted to take Benjamin out to explore the sights of the Australian city.

Benjamin clutched a Spongebob Squarepants toy as his father, who wore ripped jeans and flip flops for the outing, toted him along the street.

The family have been in Australia since early April, but had flown into Sydney from the Gold Coast ahead of John's appearance alongside Qantas on Thursday night to help celebrate their new partnership with Emirates and their new uniforms.

The event will see John joined by Australian model Miranda Kerr, as well as singer Tina Arena providing the entertainment at the gala - which will be held inside an A380 hangar at the airport.

Before flying into Sydney, John and his family had been on the Gold Coast, and marked Benjamin's recent third birthday with a trip to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Fellow zoo-goer Penny Ferguson told The Gold Coast Bulletin of the actor's visit: 'He was just so lovely and down to earth. He was making jokes about our little boys and he didn't act like he was anything special.'
